Online Comprehensive Plans

A comprehensive plan is a document that details how a community wants to develop and change—an analysis of the community, its strengths and weaknesses, and how it wants to change. A comprehensive plan includes a zoning map with zones for different uses, or if the community uses a design specification, details of the design for new buildings and renovations.

Although somewhat outdated and incomplete, comprehensive plans for some Allegheny County municipalities is available online in the Allegheny County section of the elibrary of the Governor's Center for Local Goverment Services (GCLGS).
